So this years Glastonbury wasn't exactly the easiest to dress for... there were mudslides and heat waves galore! Hence the massive variation from the simple topshop mini dress, to the layered barbour jacket and wellies look! Alexa changed outfits several times during the festival, i loved the simple high waisted shorts and tee combo, and that oversized fedora. heavenly.

THE CLOTHING LINE

I googled 'Alexa Chung for Madewell' found the website and scrolled, rather excitedly, through her collection. I wasn't sure what to expect, i imagined band t-shirts and vintage shorts, i wasn't imagining her complete 'style' though: the silk blouses, the coveralls, the vintage velvet dresses, everything really.

Her style is special because it's unique. You can't buy that skirt or that blouse she wore because it's a one off... except now that there's a collection offering replicas of her wardrobe... you can. Her style can be copied perfectly by all those Alexa Chung wannabes out there, and i think that's a real shame.
